Great question! The first step is to email me, or complete the contact form. You might be ready to put something on the schedule, want more logistics, or have questions and want to schedule a 15 minute consultation call. Let me know how I can help!
It’s easiest to reach me via email, as I spend a lot of time in session where I’m unable to answer a call. Then, we can schedule a few minutes so we can address your questions together.

I do not accept insurance. However, if you have Out of Network (OON) benefits, I am able to provide a monthly receipt that you can submit to your provider for direct reimbursement. I’d recommend calling your insurance directly to confirm the specific details of your plan. I am able to accept health savings account payments (HSA).

Congrats for even considering this step! It’s normal to feel some level of nervousness at the beginning. You’re meeting someone new, and might be wanting to process some things that are difficult to discuss, or you haven’t explored before.
In the counseling room, we get to create a space that is all yours. A space separate from your daily life to process, heal, and breathe.
While your first session will include a lot of information, I also understand that there might be things that you aren’t ready to share yet. That makes total sense! Our goal is to help heal your nervous system in processing your experiences, not re-traumatize you. We will work as fast as your nervous system allows.

Understandably, most people want the answer to this question. I am a pretty straight shooter, and unfortunately, am not a fortune teller. So with those two things in mind, we will use our time intentionally, and the answer is ‘it takes the time it takes’. I have had a front row seat to witness the healing, freedom, and transformation that can happen when you show up for the work.
